Stay at the country’s most iconic hotels, some converted from royal palaces, travel deep into the wilderness in search of the elusive Bengal tiger, and take an intimate look at life and death in the sacred city of Varanasi, where devout pilgrims flock to the holy Ganges to bathe in the sacred water and cremate their loved ones. Combine your experience of the Taj Mahal and the Treasures of India with two days at the world-famous Pushkar Fair. See painted and adorned camels; peruse stalls selling camel tassels and woven gypsy dowry bags; and witness Hindu devotees as they throng the ghats around Pushkar Lake in order to bathe and cleanse their sins.

Explore the city’s classic sites, including the Gateway of India, a 26-metre-high arch whose design reflects India’s Muslim and Hindu traditions. Visit the Prince of Wales Museum and Mani Bhawan, a museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi. Next, see the Dhobi Ghat, the largest open-air laundry in the world and a wonderfully colourful spectacle to behold. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner. If your get time, you may enjoy the evening walk on the Marine Drive.
Rest for the day and around evening time, drive to the airport and fly to Ahmedabad. Overnight stay will be at Ahmedabad.
Explore Ahmedabad city covering historical sites such as Sabarmati Ashram, take a walk through the Sabarmati Riverfront. After this, visit Patang Kite Museum and spend some time there. After lunch drive to Narmada to visit Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue – Statue of Unity, stands tall atop Sadhu Bet Island on the Narmada facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam downstream in Kevadiya colony. Back to Ahmedabad. Overnight stay will be at Ahmedabad.
Drive to Udaipur (approx 270 km / 6 to 7 hours Drive). On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay will be at Udaipur.
Explore Udaipur, visit The City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Relax this afternoon before embarking on a private cruise past Jag Mandir, a marble palace on an island in Lake Pichola. Then, admire the vibrant sunset from your island hotel over memorable sundowners followed by dinner. The next morning, visit the stunning City Palace, a marble complex that offers unforgettable views of the lake and its surroundings. Continue to the Crystal Gallery in Fateh Prakash Palace. Stroll through the Sahelion Ki Bari (Garden of the Maids of Honour) before returning to the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Pushkar (Approx. 280 Km / 5-6 hours drive). On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay will be at Udaipur.
Explore Pushkar after breakfast, visit Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple, Dargah Sharif of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. After sightseeing, drive to Pushkar (approx 150 km/ 3 hours drive). On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay will be at Jaipur.
Explore Jaipur after breakfast, Visit Amber Fort, Mavtha Lake, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar mantar, Jal Mahal ( Water Palace ) Zoo, Ramniwas Garden, Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur pinkcity. You may enjoy Camel Safari as well. Evening Free for visiting Jaipur Local Market. Overnight stay will be at Jaipur.
After breakfast, drive to Fatehpur Sikri (approx 205 km / 3 hours drive). Visit Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid & Tomb of Salim Chisti. After the sightseeing, drive to Agra (approx 36 Km / 50 min drive). Overnight stay will be at Agra.
Explore Agra after breakfast, visit Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Mehtab Bagh (Tomb of I’timad-ud-Daulah), Mini Taj Mahal and Akbar’s Tomb. Rest of the day at leisure. Free for shopping and market hopping. Overnight stay will be at Agra.
Depart by express train to Jhansi. After lunch, continue to remote Panna National Park, a haven for India’s wildlife, and check in to your wilderness lodge. Then, meet with a member of the nomadic Pardhi community to learn about their role in the continuing effort to repopulate Panna National Park with the Bengal tiger, on an A&K-exclusive experience.
Rise early this morning for a game drive in Panna National Park by 4WD, spotting crocodiles or perhaps the elusive Bengal tiger. Learn how a successful conservation programme has grown the park’s tiger population, increasing the odds of a sighting. Return to the lodge to savour a Chef’s Table experience featuring an Indian cooking demonstration, as your lodge’s chef prepares local delicacies for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to Pashan Garh for dinner.
Drive to Khajuraho to see all of life — joy, love, divinity, war — depicted in detail on every inch of its 85 Hindu and Jain temples. Then, fly to Varanasi, a city of more than a thousand temples and shrines, sacred to Hindus and Buddhists. At dusk, beside the Ganges River, witness the aarti ceremony. Chanted prayers and rhythmic drumming fill the air as you watch lantern-bearing priests bid the gods and goddesses a restful slumber.
Rise early for a private sunrise cruise on the Ganges River to observe activity along the ghats (stone steps leading down to the river), where locals and pilgrims cleanse themselves, literally and spiritually. Later, fly to Delhi for a farewell dinner.
After breakfast, visit Old Delhi tourist places including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk Raj Ghat, and Mahatma Gandhi's cremation site. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first garden-tomb in India which was the inspiration for the Taj Mahal. Later, discover Imperial New Delhi showcasing spacious, tree-lined boulevards and noteworthy buildings. If time permits, visit some notable attractions include Connaught Place (CP), the Presidential Palace, India Gate & Qutub Minar. Overnight stay will be at Delhi.
Today, your beautiful and memorable tour comes to an end, and you are transferred to the airport for your departure flight.

Your contract is with Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels.
For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Where as in case of Cancellation before the commencement, it will take atleast two weeks time to refund the said amount.
Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.
Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.
All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.
Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
