LADAKH, NORTHERN INDIA. Brandy Nala Trek which is also known as Rupsu Trek, is a wonderful trek route and is not much frequented measured by many trekkers. Very different and exciting lunar landscapes. Starting at Rupsu plain , the trek traverses the barren high plateau, high passes. A delight for nature lovers, the trek offers exiting landscape, wild animals like marmots , thar and many varieties of birds. Places on the way of the tour are Chandigarh, Manali, Keylong, Sarchu, Brandy Nala, Jukta, Morangla Base, Lun, Langmo Che, Yar La, Sora, Dat, Zalung Karpo la, Langtan Chu, Limaling, Kandmarula, chogdo, Shang, Hemis, Leh.
Meet on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning transfer to New Delhi raliway station to board Shatabdi Exp. to Chandigarh. Met on arrival and drive (310 km) to Manali (1920 hr) which takes about 9-10 hrs. On arrival check-into hotel for overnight stay.
Day at leisure to explore Manali and surrounding areas. In the afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple and Vashist Hot water spring. Overnight stay in hotel.
Morning drive to Keylong a popular village for "green peas" crossing over the Rohtang pass (3987 mt). Passport check at Koksar village. By late in the afternoon arrive at Keylong and checkin at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure, one can walk around the colourful market of Keylong.
Drive to Sarchu (3600 mt) via Baralacha La (4950 mt). Trek little ahead and camp at Brandy Nala – the starting point of this exiting trek.
A short trek towards Ligit plain. Day at leisure for acclimatize to Jukta. Overnight stay in tented camp.
The trek is easy following the Bans river. After trekking for an hr, leave the river and trek up to reach a camping place at the base of Morang La Pass at 3900 mt. set-up camp for overnight stay.
The trek is steep climb till Marang La (5300 mt). After some rest at top, start descending on other side. The trek is steep down-hill in the beginning which later opens-up in a broad plateau. From this places the trek is gentle descent through many valleys till Lun (4100 mt). et-up camp for overnight stay.
Trek to Lungmo Che (4000 mt). Start the trek along the river following it down-stream. En route cross a small village 'Sangth'. You may meet some Tibetan Nomad groups en route.
Morning trek to cross Yar la pass (4970 Mts). The climb is long but gentle till top. The Yar La offers fantastic view of Rupsu plains. Arrive Dat (4200 mt) which is a permanently inhabited village. On arrival set-up camp for overnight stay.
In the morning visit a small Gelukpa monastery at Dat village. Later start trek to Sorra (4950 Mts ). Start the trek by crossing a small river " Dat Chu". Trekk till Sorra Chu and after crossing the trek passes through forested area beforw reaching Sorra. Set-up camp alone the river for overnight stay.
Morning strat trek with climb to a small pass for about 1 hr. From this point, you can see Zalung Karpo La (4200 mt. ). after some time the vally opens-up. Camp at suitable place for overnight stay.
Morning trek to Langtang Chu - (7-8 Hrs ). A long trek through valleys. This day one has to cross many small streams. The trek is gradual climb till at camp site near Langtan Chu at 4750 mt.
Morning trek to Nimaling - enroute cross two ridges (5000 mt & 5060 mt). Later on cross Konka Wangpo pass (5090 mt). descend on othe side of the pass to high altitude pasture plan of Nimaling (4700 mt).
Day at leisure or explore surroundings area. Nimaling is also base camp for climbing Mt. Kang-Yatse (6400 mt).
Morning start climbing to Kongmaru La (5100 mt). After some rest descend on other side of pass. The descend is steep in the begining and gradual after about and hr of trek before entering a narrow valley. At some stretch, the treak passes through very narrow gorge. The valley opens at Churkimo. continue little further to Chogdo and set-up camp near tea house for overnight stay.
Trek till Shang Sumdo (road head). Drive to Hemis Monastery. Its one of the most famous and impressive monastery of Leh. Visit the monastery and later drive to Leh. On arrival check-into hotel for overnight stay.
Full day sightseeing of Shey and Thiksay and Stok Palace. In the afternoon return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi. Met on arrival at Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Optional sightseeing of Delhi. Later transfer to international airport in time to board flight to onward destination.

Your contract is with Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels.
For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Where as in case of Cancellation before the commencement, it will take atleast two weeks time to refund the said amount.
Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
