Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met, garlanded and transferred to your Hotel.
At 0530 hrs you will be transferred to Delhi Airport to connect morning flight to Leh. Upon arrival at Leh airport you will be met and transferred to Hotel in Leh. No activity, as acclimatization to adjust to high altitude. Overnight : Hotel in Leh (B, D) Ladakh: The mountain of Ladakh is spectacular. As even the valleys are at an altitude of 3,500 mt the summits are only 3,000 mt higher. Because it is desert there is little snow on them and they look like big brown hills. They are dry and dusty, with clusters of willows and desert roses along the streams, yet Ladakh is a completely magical palace, remote with delightful, gentle, ungrasping people Land : 4 mountain ranges cross Ladakh Gt. Himalaya Zanskar, Ladakh and Karakoram as do the Indus and its tributaries, Zanskar, Shingo and Shyok. Ladakh also has the world's largest glaciers outside the Polar Regions, and the large and beautiful lake Pangong Tso, 150 kms long and 4 kms wide at a height of 4,000 mt. People : There are four main groups: the Mons, nomads of Aryan stock, are usually professional entertainers, often musician; the Dards are found along the Indus valley, many converted to Islam, though some remained Buddhist; Tibetan from the bulk of the population in Central and Eastern Ladakh, though they have assumed the Ladakhi identity over generations; the Baltis with Central Asian Saka origins, mostly live in the Kargil region.
Morning: Free explore the area. Afternoon visit Sankar monastery by walk (HH Kushok Bakula Ringpoche builds this monastery 1945, this monastery is the branch monastery of Spituk monastery. Presently 40 monks are residing in this monastery. Overnight: hotel in Leh.
Morning drive to Stok via Choklamsar crosses the Indus River. It is situated at a distance of 14 km from Leh and it takes 45 minutes' drive. In Stok one can visit the Royal palace of present Queen of Ladakh. In this palace there is a great collection of ancient Royal ornaments, Thankas and old Statues. This palace is built in 1835 and is the newest palace of Ladakh. After visiting the palace drive back to Choklamsar Tibetan refugee camp. Here one can visit SOS children village and Tibetan Handicraft center. Drive back to Leh, which is 8 km and takes 20 minutes' drive. Afternoon free to explore evening local bazaar. Overnight: hotel in Leh.
Morning after breakfast you will be driven to Phey (the rafting start point). Rafting will be done on Indus from Phey to Nemo. Upon arrival in Nemo you will be driven to Alchi. Alchi monastery is built by the Great translator Ringchen Zangpo in 11th century. The great translator brought 32 woodcarvers, sculptors and painters from Kashmir. He builds hundred temples and Stupas around Ladakh, Tibet and Spiti. And this monastery is one of the well-preserved monasteries of Ladakh. After visiting this monastery drive to Uleytokpo and checkin at hotel. 4- 5 hrs of river rafting on river Indus from Nemo Alchi during low waters and Phey Nemo during high waters. End rafting and drive to Alchi camp. Visit Alchi Gompa, Overnight: Uley Ethnic Resort, Uleytokpo.
Leave Uleytokpo after breakfast for Lamayuru which is 55 kms from Uleytokpo and will take more than one hour to reach Lamayuru. Visit the monastery drive back to Leh on the way visit Likir monastery. Overnight: hotel in Leh.
After breakfast drive to Korzok which is 218 km and takes 7 hours on the way visit Thiksey monastery. Tsomoriri village is situated at 15,000 feet with it's dozen houses and the Gompa is the only permanent settlement in Rupshu otherwise the region is inhabited only by Nomadic Changpa. The Nomad live in tents all the year around moving in accordance with an old established annual routine between the pastures that exist where ever. The turquoise Color Lake is the most beautiful lake in Ladakh. Here you can find numerous spices of birds Chief among them are the bar headed Goose found in great number. The great crested Grebe, the Brahmini Duck and the brown headed Gull. Overnight : Fix Camp, Korzok.
After breakfast walk up to upper Korzok. Here you can see the nomadic life and Yaks and Pashmina goats. And you can meet the Changpa people too. Spend the rest of the day around the Lake. Overnight: Fix Camp, Korzok.
Morning, drive to Tsokar which is 86 km and takes 2 hours. On the way to Tsokar one can see the wild ass of Tibetans plateau. This colorful salty lake is also the great example for nature, with beautiful color. After stopping at Tsokar you will be driven to Leh which is 154 kms via crossing the world second highest motor-able road. From the top of the highest pass on this road (Taglangla 5350 Mt) from you can see the beautiful view of Rupshu valley and Indus valley. Then descend towards Rumtse and continue through narrow gorge with colorful mountain. Overnight: hotel in Leh.
Rest day to do last minute shopping and packing (this is a buffer day to meet any delays during safari). Overnight: hotel in Leh.
You will be transferred to Leh airport for morning flight to Delhi. Upon arrival our services will end.

Your contract is with Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels.
For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Where as in case of Cancellation before the commencement, it will take atleast two weeks time to refund the said amount.
Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.
Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.

We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.
Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
