HIMACHAL PRADESH, NORTHERN INDIA. Bhaba Pass is an interesting trek, starting from Spiti region and finishing at Kafnoo in Kinnaur after crossing Bhabha Pass (4640 mt). Bhaba pass Trek is one of the famouse tour among the Himachal Trekking tours. The pass remains snow-bound round the year. After crossing the Bhaba pass, the landscape changes dramatically, with the barren lunarscape of Spiti being replaced by the thick forest of Pine, cedar and deodar. Pilgrimage of kinner Kailash is introducing with the culture and religion of Hindu and Buddhist religion of semi deserted district of Kinnaur.The trek starts from barren Spiti region with stark landscape and in contrast Kinnaur is lush green. The trip also offers chance to visit many Buddhist monasteries , different culture and tradition. Routes - Delhi - Chandigrah - Manali - Rohtang - Chhota Dhara - Kunzum La - Rangrik - Kaza - Sichling - Tabo - Sichling - Mikkim - Mud - Pharka - Phaldar Camp - Bhaba Base - Bhaba pass - Fushtiaring - Mulling - Kafnu - Kalpa - Srahan - Shimla - Kalka - Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Met on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
In the morning board Shatabdi Express (departture:0740 hours) from New Delhi Railway station to Chandigarh. Met on arrival (1100 hours) at Chandigarh railway station and drive (310 km) to Manali (1920 mt) via Kullu. On arrival, check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
Morning at leisure for independent activities. In the afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple and Bashist Hot water spring. Overnight stay in hotel.
Early morning after breakfast drive (115 km) to Chhota Dhara via Rohtang pass (3849 mt.). The initial route follows the Manali - Leh Highway. After 17 km from Rohtang pass at Gramphoo, Spiti link takes off right. We will set-up camp at Chhota Dahara. However after Chhota Dhara there is one more camping place at Batal (from Batal there is a road going upto Chandratal). Overnight stay in tented camp.
In the morning drive to Rangrik via Kunzum-la (4507 mt / 140 km drive ). 22 km from Kunzum La is Losar, first village of the Spiti valley. Continue driving to RANGRIK which is 7-8 km before Kaza. Set-up camp on arrival for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast start the drive (8 km) to Ki by crossing the Spiti River. Ki Monastery is an imortant Gelugpa centre and is seat of Lochen Tulku, the 24th Lotsawa Rimpoche. After sightseeing of Ki Monastery continue driving further to Kibber Gompa (The highest village in the valley). Like Ki, Kibber's temples are in Gelugpa hands. Return to main road after visiting Ki and Kibber and continue driving to Sichling via Kaza, which is headquarter for Lahaul & Spiti region. Set up camp for overnight stay at Sichling below the Dhankar Monastery (3890 mt).
Morning after breakfast drive (32 km) to Tabo (3050 m) the ancient cultural city of Spiti. It houses the most famous Monastery of Himachal Pradesh. This is over 1000 year old and treated as the most sacred Monastery next only to Tholling Gompa in Tibet. The temples are built in the west-tibetan style. The innner wall of Tabo is covered by frescos and painting from Buddha's life. Often reffered as `Ajanta of Himalayas' Tabo's paintings are still preserved in most original form. After sightseeing of Tabo, return to camp at Sichling for lunch. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Dhankar (17 km round trip). Return to camp for Overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast drive (32 km) to Mikkim (3087 mt.) via Gulling. Visit kungri monastery. Later on drive to Mud village (3900 mt). on arrival set-up camp for overnight stay.
After breakfast, start the first day of trek (5-6 hours) by crossing the Pin River foot bridge. Trek continues following the right bank of Pin River. Cross Shian village enroute. Further 01 hr is a beautiful and large camping area. Continue trekking till the Pin river takes left turn. Camp at small green camping place (4100 mt.). The valley towards right leads to Pin-Parvati Pass and to the left to Bhaba Pass. Overnight stay in the tented camp.
Morning after early breakfast start trek (7-8 hours) towards Bhaba Pass. The trek is gentle climb in the begning through the morains and snow/ice patches. Closer to pass the climb is steep and somtime sleepry on loose screes. Trek climb-up towards left to the pass (4950 mt.). The descends steeply on the other side of the pass till the valley opens up at Fushtiaring. Setup camp (4100 mt) on the banks of Wanger River for overnight stay. The valley is greener as compared to valley on Spiti side. Overnight stay in tented camp.
After breakfast start the down trek (4-5 hours) to Mulling following the Wanger River on the left bank. after 1 hrs the vally opens up and makes T shapes with another valley in the front. Trek takes right turn here and continue trekking after crossing a stream 2-3 times. After another 01 hr the route takes left turn and crosses the Wanger by a natural rock bridge. The valley becomes more green and forested. Continue walking further to the open flat ground and camp there for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast walk (3-4 hours) through the forest area following the Wanger River on left bank. The route is heavely forested with pine,cedar and birch. Reach Kafnu, the last road head in the valley. On arrival board the coach and drive (4 hours) to Kalpa (2900 mt.). Check-into Tourist Bangalows/ Tented camp for overnight stay.
After breakfast drive (85 km) to Sarahan. On arrival check-into hotel. In the afternoon visit the famous Hindu Temple of Goddess Kali - Bhimkali Temple and bird breeding centre in Sarahan. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning after breakfast drive (185 km) to Shimla via Narkanda which is a famous holiday resort. Arrive and check into hotel. Rest of day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in hotel.
Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Shimla. Afternoon proceed for Kalka (90 km / 3 hours drive) railway station to board afternoon Shatabdi Express to Delhi. Met on arrival at New Delhi railway station and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Your contract is with Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Mountain Adventure Tours & Travels.
For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Where as in case of Cancellation before the commencement, it will take atleast two weeks time to refund the said amount.
Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
