How to get to the trek site
If you have availed for a Goecha La trek package your trek probably begins from Yuksom. Your journey will begin from your arrival NJP or Bagdogra airport. From there you can rent or get on a shared taxi to Gangtok. You can travel from Gangtok to Yuksom on the following day.
The best time to visit
The best time to go on this trek is in the spring season when the rhododendrons are in full bloom. You can also visit in the autumn to get a different view of the landscape.
